The Turkey holiday villa is 500m above sea level, surrounded by pine forests, with stunning views across a plateau and the of the nearby mountains and enjoys cooling breezes even in mid-summer. Traditional Uzumlu village is a 2km walk away and has shops, restaurants and bars. The villa is an ideal holiday venue for extended families with children or for larger groups of friends. The vacation villa has everything that a holidaymaker could want. The three ground floor living rooms - two lounges and a dining room - all access the veranda with two BBQs and another dining area and the sun terrace surrounding the illuminated private pool. There is a fully equipped kitchen that can cater for up to thirteen people. The five bedrooms on the upper two floors have sun terraces and there are three doubles (one en-suite and one family) and two twin bedded rooms; all the rooms are air-conditioned and the doubles have king size beds. In the basement area is a large - 60m2 - Gym and Games Room with a cross-trainer, weights, a punchbag, table tennis, darts, quoits and a Nintendio Wii. Also there is a bar/sound area and a toilet/shower room with patio doors leading out to a secluded sun terrace. The villa has a mobile 'phone and wi-fi internet throughout.
Travelling from the villa to the many attractions around the area is easy and fairly relaxing. Hiring a car or minibus is recommended and is fairly cheap and allows you complete freedom. Contrary to the perceived views of driving in Turkey it is pretty safe, traffic density is low and driving attitudes are peaceful and fairly predictable, albeit that there is frequent use of the horn.
Fethiye is 17km from the vacation villa and you can either use the Dolmus minibuses or it’s an easy 25 minute drive to a bustling port with lots to offer. By the harbour you can walk along the promenade past the tour boats or relax in the many bars and tea-houses. In the OldTown (Paspatur) there are many shops offering quality leather goods, carpets and designer clothes and the Turkish bath (Haman) is a must!
1) The rates are for renting the whole villa for up to 13 people for a week and there are no extra charges. 2) HM Forces, Emergency Services and Groups of 8 or less can stay outside the peak season and deduct 15%. 3) Book for 2013 before 31/12/2012 and deduct 10%. 4) A welcome pack is provided free of charge to cover arriving at unsocial hours. 5) Return transfers from Dalaman Airport take 45 minutes in a minibus at £130 return. 6) Car rental avilable from £140/week for a saloon and £350/week for a minibus.
