A short walk along flower-fringed paths will take you to one of two large swimming pools set in flower gardens with lawned areas beneath shady trees. Within easy reach (a 10 minute drive ) are the pretty town of Nerja with its shops restaurants and bars; Burriana Beach and its glorious sea and mountain scenery; or the fabulous caves at Maro. Come and see for yourself. You will be enchanted with the beauty of El Capistrano. The apartment is in a quiet cul de sac on the edge of El Capistrano Village. The lounge, terrace and garden face south with lovely glimpses of the sea. The rugged Sierra Almijara form a spectacular backdrop to the village with peaks rising to 6000 feet, providing wonderful walks which start within minutes of the apartment. Only 5 minutes away by car, Burriana Beach beckons, while Nerja town combines the charm of traditional Spain with modern shops, markets, bars, restaurants and entertaining nightlife. The pretty village of Maro and its fabulous Nerja Caves are 2 kms Eastwards, and beyond lies the national park with the breathtaking scenery of the Costa Tropical and the picturesque coastal towns of La Herradura, Almunecar and Salobrena, all within an easy drive. Frigiliana, the nearest of the lovely mountain villages, lies just behind Nerja and you should not miss a trip to the beautiful white villages of the Alpujarras and beyond to Granada and the world-famous Alhambra.
