Our five beautiful stone cottages, situated in the wine producing village of Louzignac, near Cognac, in the Charente Maritime, South West France.

CARRIAGE RIDES with pair of magnificent Percheron horses, through the vines and sunflowers. In the village of Massac close by, are a pair of Percheron horses ( The dappled gray ones - that look like a child's rocking horse ). They are available to come and give you the perfect half day out, through the vines and sunflowers, and traditional villages. If you are up to it they can even go at the gallop, a truly breathtaking and memorable experience. These horses, much loved by their owners, and solely for pleasure, used to be the only "horse power" running the small farms and vineyards.

Enjoying micro - climate, making us the second sunniest region in France. The Charente maritime, where the land meets the sea, in gentle and undulating, perfect for bike riding and easy walking. Vines seam to cover an awful lot of our area, and a walk or carriage ride through the vines is a must.

COTTAGE ONE sleeping four - two bedrooms, double and twin, bathroom with shower, basin and WC. Large well equipped kitchen with Full sized gas cooker, dishwasher, f/freezer,microwave,toaster,coffee maker,electric kettle,iron,ironing board,hair dryer and room fans. Separate living room with English TV channels and DVD player. Private walled terrace facing west, overlooking large lawn. Washing machines in separate laundry room on site.

COTTAGE THREE sleeping five - three bedrooms,double,twin, single. Bathroom with shower, basin and WC. BLOCK BOOKING - cottages 1,2,& 3 are perfect for a larger group booking, sleeping fourteen people in comfort, in separate houses, where you can have privacy when required, and socialise as a group on the large terraces. For an even larger booking, cottages four and five may also be included, and in total, all five cottages would sleep 24 people.

COTTAGE FOUR - sleeping six in its own private walled garden - three bedrooms, two double, one twin. Bathroom with shower,basin and WC. Large fully equipped kitchen with full sized gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle,toaster,coffee maker,f/freezer, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and room fans. Private west facing raised terrace This is our largest cottage, and having two double bedrooms is becoming our most popular. Separate laundry room on site.

COTTAGE FIVE - sleeps four - two bedrooms, a double and twin. In its own private walled garden, facing east and very separate from the other cottages, facing the huge iron gates, and was the home of the previous owners. Bathroom with shower,basin and WC. Well equipped kitchen, with full sized gas cooker,f/freezer, dishwasher, microwave,electric kettle,coffee maker,toaster, iron,ironing board, hair dryer and room fans. Separate laundry room on site. Private terrace facing south east, breakfast and lunch in the sunshine, and dine in the evening in the shade. This is in the form of an old "longere", with all four rooms originally in a row. Now has a bedroom at each end, and the bathroom and living kitchen in the middle. Very popular with families with toddlers ( no stairs), or couples holidaying together.
