For discerning couples, (non-smokers only), no expense has been spared to create a home-from-home romantic holiday cottage hideaway that was formerly a blacksmith's barn. Facilities include: • Cosy sitting/dining room with open fire. • Galleried spacious double bedroom with exceptionally large en-suite bathroom upstairs. • Fully-equipped kitchen with stable door leading out to the patio and garden. • Small utility room with toilet, washing machine and tumble drier. • Private sunny patio and large garden, with garden furniture and barbeque. • Private parking for two cars on site. • Central heating throughout. • Wireless Broadband • Sleeps two. • Available only to non-smokers. • Weekly rates: £360 - £760. • Change-over day is Friday. • Short breaks: Available on request. • 'Dog friendly': One medium-sized dog welcome - by prior arrangement. Rooky's Nook is ideally situated to take advantage of the stunning North Cornwall coastline and its fantastic beaches, the ancient castle of Tintagel and the King Arthur legends, and picturesque village of Boscastle, and the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac. Slightly south of Rooky's Nook is the Camel Estuary and the Camel Trail, a 17 mile cycle track, Rock and Padstow, and the beautiful sandy beach at Daymer Bay. Other delights of this magnificent Cornish coast can be found in places like Polzeath, Newquay and Bude where the rolling Atlantic breakers offer exhilarating year-round surfing. Alternatively head inland onto Bodmin Moor and discover some of it's archaeological heritage and mining history, visiting Rough Tor one of it's highest points, or many other Tors which the 18th century 'druid's' worshipped as 'rock idols'. If you're interested in Cornwall's historic houses, then Lanhydrock and Pencarrow, plus many other National Trust 'treasures' are all easily reached by car. If you're a golfer, why not come and play Bowood, St Kew, St Enodoc, Roserrow and Trevose - all challenging 18 hole championship golf courses. If you love gardens, then come and visit some of the wonderful Gardens of Cornwall, including the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan - just a 40-minute drive away. By the end of your holiday you will probably find you haven't managed to visit all the amazing attractions Cornwall has to offer, and so you will need to come back again, where Rooky's Nook offers you the ideal luxury holiday cottage from which to do as much or as little as you fancy!
