In the mountains there are amazing waterfalls, hot springs, wonderful hiking trails. Shopping is either 10 minutes away in Marigot, or 25 minutes to the village of Calibishie.

The Cottage is set among secluded tropical gardens, tropical palms beside the pristine tranquil, refreshing river that is ideal for playing and bathing. Barbeque, picnic table, swimming hole in the river... a perfect setting for sitting, sipping a cool Kubuli, or the Caribbean favourite, rum punch. Guests are invited to, 'make themselves at home', enjoy this unique tropical environment. Dining is outside [optional], with the kitchen opening onto the covered patio dining area. Note: no terrace, we call it a patio, dining area. Experience some of the amazing activities Dominica offers: Fishing, Whale watching, Snorkelling, Hiking, Scuba diving, River rafting, Waterfalls and Sea Kayaking. February is Carnival - amazing costumes, steel bands, parades, dancing. Late March to early May watch as the sea turtles lay their eggs - a must see! We are in close proximity to the 5 best beaches on our side of the island. In our area you must visit our banana experience and farmers getting their produce ready for market. Saint Andrew is the district area, Marigot is the village.
We are 15 minutes to a lovely white sandy beach for swimming. In the mountains there are amazing waterfalls, hot springs and wonderful hiking trails. Shopping is either 10 minutes away in Marigot, or 25 minutes to the village of Calibishie. There are a few grocery stores in town: Alford's and Coral Reef (Austrie: nick name). You will find a lot of stuff, every morning you will have fresh locally bread and desserts. Look for walking vendors selling just-picked callalou, jam,peppers, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, and fruit. At the end of Calibishie, you will find delicious ripe fruit at a very low price. If you like fresh fish, crayfish or lobster to cook, check the local fisherman in Calibishie, close to Calibishie Lodges, or drive 20 minutes to Marigot village, and check the fisher place there, they have daily fresh ocean food. Planning a stay of more than a week, and cooking yourself ? Your best bet is to head into the capital, Roseau, to stock up on a more extensive selection of groceries at Astaphans- Whitchurch or Brizee's and hit the local fruit market. Only 1 Mile from Melville Airport Although we've no international airport, we do have two smaller airports. Melville Hall Airport (code:DOM) is the larger of the two and is approx 60 minutes from Roseau. Canefield Airport(DCF) is smaller but is just 15 minutes from Roseau. Coffeeriver Cottages is Only 1 Mile from Melville Hall Airport (code:DOM) From September 2010, Melville Hall Airport[code: DOM] offers night landing's, open until 10 pm. Main airlines serving Dominica include: LIAT, BVI Airways & American Eagle. Major hubs in the region with flights to Dominica include Antigua, San Juan, St. Lucia, St Martin, Tortola & Barbados. The neighbouring French islands of Martinique and Guadeloupe, are also convenient hubs for flights from Europe to Dominica. Taxis and rental cars are available, because of this renters should keep in mind that the quality and price of cars could vary from dealer to dealer. Deposits & Cancellations
The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.
For stays of 3 nights or less, full payment is required at the time of booking, we will hold bookings only if you're paying the full amount at the time of booking.
For 4 nights or more: 50% deposit at time of booking will be required. Traveller cheques are also accepted upon your arrival. NO TAXES
Credit Cards are accepted, we will hold only if payment has been made in advance of booking: East Caribbean (XCD)/(US) Dollars or use travellers cheque upon your arrival.
Deposits are refundable (less 5% credit card charges ) Cancellation notice must received 14 days prior to date of arrival.

Cancellation details:
1. Failure to comply will incur a charge equal to one nights stay.
2. Failure of cancel by the stated period will result in the non-return of your deposit
3. Please seek the advertisers consent for pets in the house.
4. Subject to inspection of the property at check out time. Any damage caused by person, or persons renting the cottage, or damage caused by their animals, at the time of occupation of the property will be held responsible for loss or of said damage.
5. We accept no responsibility for personal loss or injury during your holiday
6. NO REFUNDS for REDUCED numbers, or NO SHOWS will be given, after the booking has been made
